A classic doublecut design with 30" short scale (762 mm) are the hallmark of the Vintage Reissued VS4CR Cherry Red, which also relies on the traditional solid mahogany construction with glued neck. Accordingly, the practical four-string convinces not only with smooth playing characteristics, but also with a powerful sound. While the Vintage Jumbo Double-Coil pickup at the neck promises an extremely fat Vintage-Sound with powerful basses, the Mini Double-Coil pickup placed at the bridge provides extremely wiry sounds with a present midrange spectrum. The pickups of the Vintage Reissued VS4CR Bass are controlled classically via two volume controls and a general treble slider. Last but not least, indestructible Hardware in the form of a 3-point adjustable bass bridge and precise Wilkinson WJBL200 tuners complete the Vintage Reissued VS4CR Cherry Red.
